OGG - Ogg Vorbis

Format introduction

Vorbis is a free and open-source software project headed by the Xiph.Org Foundation. The project produces an audio coding format and software reference encoder/decoder (codec) for lossy audio compression. Vorbis is most commonly used in conjunction with the Ogg container format and it is therefore often referred to as Ogg Vorbis.

Technical details

Vorbis had been shown to perform significantly better than many other lossy audio formats in the past in that it produced smaller files at equivalent or higher quality while retaining computational complexity comparable to other MDCT formats such as AAC or Windows Media Audio.

To convert video, follow these steps:

  • Use the "Add video files" button to upload the document to the server. The size of the video file is 1Gb, but the larger the file, the more time it will take to convert. Just be patient and everything will turn out. You can convert files from AVI, WMV, MPEG, MOV, FLV, MP4, 3GP, VOB and other video formats.
  • By default, the conversion starts automatically, but you can turn off automatic conversion, in this case you will need to click the button "Convert" to convert your documents. If the conversion is successful, the file will be available in the above drag&drop area. If you just need to download a file, click on the file name. If you want to get other ways to save, then click on the “Info” to generate a QR code to upload the result to your mobile phone or tablet, and also if you want to save the file in one of the online storage services such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
